About The Blessed Business
Our Mission
The Blessed Business exists to empower Christian entrepreneurs to launch and grow blessed businesses so that they can positively impact the Kingdom through Business As Mission (BAM).
We started our own journey a number of years ago and can attest to the transformational power of following Biblical principles in our personal and professional lives. We like to call it 'living in the flow of blessing.'
Our Philosophy
Some people think that talking about being 'blessed' is simply wishful thinking or just another flavor of the prosperity gospel that so many people have abused.
This is not the case with The Blessed Business. We base our philosophy solidly on the Word of God. There are many promises of both spiritual and natural blessings in the Bible. However, most of them are conditional and are connected to a greater purpose. No, we don't believe in giving as a get-rich-quick scheme. Nor do we believe that you must live in poverty to do the work of God.
Simply put, God doesn't promise that everyone will be a millionaire, but His Word does tell us that when we are committed to supporting His mission, He has a vested interest in our personal prosperity.
The Purpose of Blessing
Most all blessings from God come with a missional purpose. Financial blessing is no exception. God knows that it takes financial provision to support and execute the work of the kingdom. Thus, His plan is to bless His people in such a way that they have more than enough to take care of their own needs and thus have extra leftover that they can contribute to financing the kingdom of God.
Abrahamic Promise of Blessing
"That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice." Gen 22: 17-18 KJV
Living in the flow of blessing
Most people want to be lucky. Many crave success. But what is better than both of those? Living in the flow of God's blessing. What is the flow of blessing? It is the favor of God actively manifest in your life as a direct response to your intentional alignment with biblical promises, principles, and connection to the purpose of blessing.
When your finances and vocational efforts are aligned with Biblical principles and focused on helping further the kingdom mission; God has a vested interest in your personal prosperity.
